Company Introduction

GCP Holdings Inc was established in September 2023 following the corporate restructuring of Asia Infonet Inc., originally founded in August 2001 as an internal venture company within Fujitsu Limited.

With over two decades of operational expertise, GCP Holdings is dedicated to advancing renewable energy and contributing to a more sustainable global society.

Asia Infonet, one of our group companies, has a long history of supporting global procurement in the manufacturing sector. In August 2012, coinciding with the introduction of Japan’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) law scheme, the company entered the solar power business. Since then, it has participated in the development and construction of a wide range of solar power facilities, both large and small scale, with a total capacity exceeding several hundred megawatts. Currently, the company owns and operates nine self-developed mega-solar power facilities, with a combined capacity of approximately 20 megawatts.

In 2018, GC POWER LIMITED began developing energy storage systems in collaboration with a Chinese battery manufacturer. As renewable energy output faces increasing curtailment in the post-FIT era, battery storage has become essential for maintaining grid balance. GC POWER is continuing to develop and introduce storage solutions for both industrial and utility-scale applications.

With growing demand for decarbonization and self-consumption among corporations and municipalities, our group continues to play an active role in supporting this transition. In line with international climate targets, including the goals declared at COP28 in December 2023, we are incorporating innovative technologies such as flexible solar panels and perovskite solar cells. These advancements are being proposed to a broad range of stakeholders, including businesses, local governments, educational institutions, and public facilities.
